BUT if you want a fun list of some unexpected items that could enhance your boudoir experience, dive in below!


  1. Body Oil: Trust us. Body oil will make your skin look luscious, silky, soft and delicious on camera. We usually have some on hand but recommend bringing one that you love! We recommend this one. This one does not leave an oily residue, goes on smooth and does not make you feel overly greasy.
  2. Slippers: Studio floors can be dirty. Gross but true. We recommend bringing a very loose fitting shoe such as a slipper to wear as we move throughout the studio or from set to set.
  3. Water Bottle: Hydrate yourself! Before, during and after. Having water during your session is a must. We get in some uncomfortable poses (that look AMAZING) but our poses may or may not give you a slight ab workout.
  4. Perfume: Okay, this one may seem strange but bring it. Wearing one of your favorite perfumes just sets you up for feeling confident and sexy. If you feel like splurging, go buy a new luxurious smelling scent for your session. One time we heard that you should buy a new scent for big moments in life. From then on, that scent will always remind you of those special moments. And let’s be honest, a boudoir session is a special moment for self growth and confidence.
  5. Jewelry: Something simple or bold. Before we start shooting, we always double check to make sure the jewelry that you have on are pieces you want in the pictures. More times than not, clients will say oops! And take their pieces off. Having a pearl necklace or a statement piece is fun to throw on for a few pictures.
  6. Jeans: We do not have items such as jeans in our client closet. SO, you should totally bring a pair because a good pair of blue jeans is just down right sexy. We love when clients want to pair a bralette with a pair of jeans or even go topless with their favorite pair of Levi’s.
  7. Personalized Prop: We got you on the lingerie, matching sets, bodysuits, etc. However, if you want to bring a fun prop such as a partner’s jersey, your cowgirl hat, your favorite red boots, your cozy sweater, etc. BRING IT. We love when clients bring a unique prop to their session.
  8. Clear Lip Gloss: Professional hair and make-up is included in all of our sessions. But, some of our poses include touching your lips so over the course of your session, you may want to rehydrate and add a little bit of gloss to those luscious lips of yours. We recommend this one that is affordable and fantastic.
