Myth: Boudoir photography is only for young, perfect bodies.
Reality: Boudoir photography celebrates every body type and age. It's about highlighting your unique beauty, regardless of societal standards. Tart Boudoir has had 18 year old clients (which is the youngest age we will shoot) and 60+ year old clients. Tart Boudoir has had size XS clients and we have had size 3X clients. We have had clients of all shapes, colors and sizes.
Myth: Boudoir photography is only for women
Reality: Boudoir photography is inclusive and for everyone. Men, non-binary individuals, couples – anyone can embrace and enjoy this empowering experience. Reminder - Book your couples session! We are LOVING these lately.
Myth: Boudoir photography is inappropriate or vulgar.
Reality: Boudoir photography is a tasteful, elegant, beautiful celebration of intimacy and self-confidence. It focuses on artistry, elegance, and the client's comfort level at all times. Tart Boudoir will never pressure you to do a pose or wear anything that makes you uncomfortable. We are also happy to shoot you nude. Whatever YOU want.
Myth: You need to know how to pose like a model.
Reality: A skilled boudoir photographer (like ourselves) will guide you through poses that highlight your best features. It's about authenticity and capturing your personality. Tart Boudoir will literally pose you from your fingers to your toes. AND we coach your facial expressions.
Myth: Boudoir photography is expensive and inaccessible.
Reality: We offer a range of packages to suit different budgets. It's an investment in yourself and a priceless experience of self-discovery and confidence. Tart Boudoir offers payment plans that are completely customizable. We have had clients pay for their sessions almost a year in advance. We are happy to work with you.
